Olympians, World and national champions among qualifiers to 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 23, 2025) – Four Olympic medalists lead the list of athletes currently qualified and anticipated to compete for national titles and U.S. National Team roster spots at the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in New Orleans. Set for August 7-10 at Smoothie King Center, the championships will include nearly 140 athletes in senior women, senior men, junior women and junior men competition.

2024 Paris Olympic medalists include women’s team gold medalist Hezly Rivera and men’s team bronze medalists Brody Malone, Frederick Richard, Asher Hong and Stephen Nedoroscik, who also won bronze on pommel horse.

World Championships team gold medalists expected to compete include Joscelyn Roberson, Leanne Wong and Skye Blakely. Individual national champions include Roberson (2023 vault), Wong (2022 uneven bars), Malone (7 U.S. titles, including 2024 all-around and horizontal bar), Hong (2023 all-around), Donnell Whittenburg (7 U.S. titles, including 2024 vault) Richard (2024 floor exercise, 2023 high bar), and Nedoroscik (2021-24 pommel horse).

USA Gymnastics announced the athlete list Wednesday, following the 2025 Men’s National Qualifier in Colorado Springs and 2025 U.S. Classic Presented by Saatva in Chicago.
The Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships will host the final domestic elite event of the artistic season for junior and senior artistic gymnastics. U.S. lineups for the 2025 World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia, and 2025 Junior World Championships in Manila, Philippines, will be named from the championships and selection events later this fall, putting even higher stakes on National Team selection.

Qualified athletes expected to compete at the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships

The lists below include athletes who are qualified and anticipated to compete in New Orleans. Athletes not currently qualified may petition to request entry into the Championships. Any additional athletes will be announced after registrations are finalized July 30.
