From the French Olympic Games to the French Quarter, the gymnastics Olympic journey continues and the road to the LA 2028 Olympic Games officially begins in New Orleans. This year’s event will feature top elite athletes from across the country, including returning Olympic medalists from the Paris 2024 Men’s Olympic Team Brody Malone and Frederick Richard, and women’s gold medalist Hezly Rivera, one of the breakout stars from Paris. The Championships also provide a first glimpse at the rising stars beginning their journeys to compete for spots on Team USA at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Two-session ticket packages are now available, giving fans the ability to purchase both sessions of their favorite discipline for one price. All tickets are available for purchase at the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships website, and single-session tickets will be made available in May.
The Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships will showcase the country’s best junior and senior men’s and women’s gymnasts as they compete for national titles and spots on the U.S. National Team. This team will ultimately help determine the roster that will be selected in the fall for the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, set for October 19-25, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
“After watching the U.S. women’s team win gold and the U.S. men’s team win bronze at the Paris Olympics last year, New Orleans is excited to capitalize on this success as we prepare to host the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships,” said Jay Cicero, President and CEO of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation. “It has been 30 years since the championships were last held in our city, and with the growing excitement around gymnastics, particularly with the success of LSU’s National Championship-winning program, we anticipate an incredible turnout.”
Concurrent with the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, the USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show will take place from August 8-10 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, drawing more than 2,500 attendees and exhibitors engaged in education, networking and industry-leading presentations.
