In 2019, the U.S. Gymnastics Championships return to Kansas City, Mo., for the first time since 1987. Held Aug. 8-11 at Sprint Center, the four-day championships features the country’s best gymnasts vying for national titles and national team berths.
Not only did the 21-year-old Simone Biles set a modern record for the most national all-around crowns, she also became the first woman to win on every apparatus since Dominique Dawes did it in 1994.
USA Gymnastics named the U.S. Women’s National Team following the conclusion of the women’s competition at the 2018 U.S. Gymnastics Championships at TD Garden in Boston. The women’s program also presented its annual awards.
